Diane Camp, Reynolds Development Chef, wins the coveted Development Chef of the Year Award 2016

Reynolds is very proud to announce that Diane Camp, Development Chef at Reynolds, has been awarded the title of Development Chef of the Year by The Craft Guild of Chefs.

The 2016 Craft Guild of Chefs Awards ceremony took place in London’s Lancaster Hotel on Wednesday 1st June and was attended by over 800 guests.

The coveted awards recognise leading lights across the industry, from pubs and the military to fine dining restaurants. There are 16 award categories in the competition attracting key trendsetters who are bringing food innovation to the UK. The Development Chef Award is open to chefs that are involved in the creation and development of food products for the retail and foodservice industry, recognising the ever-growing importance of this sector of the chef’s profession.

Diane brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Reynolds, playing an instrumental role in the company’s operations. She spends her days creating concepts and food offers that are aligned to current high street trends, making it possible for Reynolds to continue to deliver a market leading proposition to its clients.

Diane was delighted to receive this award after developing food at Reynolds for close to 4 years, and with 16 years of experience in foodservice across two continents. She said of the award, “Being presented with the award from The Craft Guild of Chefs is a tremendous honour, and the highest accolade I have received in my professional career. This would not be possible without the mentoring and guidance of Ian Nottage, as well as the continued support of the Reynolds management team, for which I am very grateful for. Thanks also to my customers whose experience is at the centre of everything we do at Reynolds. Here’s to our next exciting innovation!”

The other nominees in the development chef category were Clive Goudercourt from the National Trust, Jack Jepson-Sykes from Pabulum Catering and Dan Kelly from Vacherin.

Tony Reynolds, Managing Director of Reynolds, commented: “Diane is an exceptionally skilled development chef, and she thoroughly deserves the recognition this award brings. The whole team are very proud of her. We now have one eye on the National Chef of the Year competition, which Diane is also nominated for. Good luck Diane!”
