Reynolds supports the 2016 Universal Cookery and Food Festival

Reynolds is delighted to announce its continued sponsorship of the 2016 Universal Cookery and Food Festival, the essential event for chefs and caterers looking to gain inspiration to take back to their kitchens. This year’s event takes place on Tuesday 20 September at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire.

Andy Weir, Head of Marketing at Reynolds, says he has high expectations for the Universal Cookery & Food Festival, following a visit to Laverstoke Park Farm with the event organisers yesterday.

“Reynolds has supported the Universal Cookery and Food Festival for the past couple of years, and this year promises a similarly fruitful return. I know that our customers feel that there is no better way to celebrate what is so special about British food – something the team at Reynolds is especially passionate about. I am expecting to see many of last year’s visitors returning, along with a whole host of chefs from London the South East who were unable to make the trip to Vallum Farm in 2015.”

Billed as the ‘Glastonbury for Chefs’, the event brings together a broad mix of foodies, including artisan growers, smokers, bakers, producers, farmers, foodservice suppliers and chefs. As well as a host of great speakers, there will be many activities and cooking demonstrations to keep visitors entertained throughout the day. An evening BBQ with live music will round off an eventful day.
