HomeReynolds supports the 2nd Eat Out Awards
Eat-Out-Awards-2015

Reynolds was delighted to sponsor the Eat Out Awards 2015, which took place on the 26th October at The Gable in the city of London. The votes in the 2nd Eat Out Awards were made online by consumers across the UK and from customers of companies taking part.

Now in its second year, the awards are aimed at spotlighting all that’s best about high-street pub and restaurant dining in Britain today.

In total, 11 awards were presented, each highlighting a key skill set. All but two of the awards were judged by a team of experienced dining-out experts. The award’s two blue riband awards were voted on by consumers who decided the Best Pub Restaurant of the Year and Best Restaurant of the Year.

In a special award for Outstanding Industry Achievement made by Eat Out, David Page, former CEO of Pizza Express and now serial backer of start-up companies including Franco Manca, was honoured for his impact on the casual dining sector over the past 30 years.

Among the eight other categories, which were judged by a distinguished panel of industry experts, Ed’s Easy Diner won Restaurant Company of the Year and the Coaching Inn Group walked away with the Pub Company of the Year Award.

Other winners included:

  • Lussmanns Fish & Grill Restaurants, a founder member of the Sustainable Restaurant Association, won the Best Adoption of Sustainability.
  • The Edwardian Group won Best Use of Technology.
  • Vital Ingredient won the Healthy Eating Award.
  • Yo Sushi! won New Concept of the Year.
  • Cabana won the Social Media/Best Use of Technology Award.
  • The King’s Head, near Winchester, won Team of the Year.
